Fantastic location, friendly staff, good and bad.

Great ‘tropical’ location away from the noise of the city (our reason to book) with a large swimmingpool, rooms are ok, bathrooms are ok. Staff is very friendly, helpfull and knowledgable, arranging tours on request. Food is simple but tasty. We definitey would have awarded our stay with higher points, if not for the experience…:

The room we booked was available and great, but situated next to a couple of rooms of a partying group of around 20 Vietnamese youngsters, outside, with heavy drinking, dancing and extremely loud karaoke for many hours until very late in hte morning (~1AM), every evening, multiple days, drunk shouting, leaving empty bottles and glass everywhere. We complained but were told by the staff it was because of a wedding, but the staff let them. We did not expect that from an eco-mountain accomodation. This sincerely spoiled the extremely beautifull setting of the property and was very disturbing. We were able to move to a room elsewhere on the same property that was luckily available, but that was much smaller and of lower quality, but for the same price. Even there it was hard to get to sleep. Staff should take care of all customers equally and provide conditions for all to enjoy.

Very Good

Excellent concept for a hotel to use shipping containers; that is why we booked it! Amazingly huge pool to relax in. Free bikes to borrow (though their condition is only okay). Really big rooms and bathroom. Lots of closet space. A perfect hotel for large families or groups with their own cars. Not a great hotel for solo travelers or couples who don't have a car or scooter.

Go to PhongNha Eco Mountain Farmstay, have breakfast with a friendly cat called Breakfast.

Staff were really friendly. They have 3 dogs which want to make friends with everyone, they have a cat called Breakfast who is so friendly. The pool is huge and filled with fresh mountain water.

As with being in the mountains you get bugs, mosquitoes and spiders. Keep the doors shut and you'll be fine. The AC is good.

Nice place, nice rooms!

Very nice setting, beautiful and comfortable rooms.

I was the only guest there due to tourism sector down which unfortunately meant the kitchen was closed most of the time.. it was hard to get a lift to the town too (about 6km away), they let me borrow a bicycle though after asking.

Amazing time at the Farmstay

This is an amazing place, just at the entrance of the national park, surrounded by beautiful mountains. We were supposed to stay there for one or two nights, but we ended up staying around two weeks, because we fell in love with this farm stay. The rooms are really nice, clean and comfortable. They have a beautiful pool filled without any chemicals. Their chef is really talented and makes this amazing beautiful dishes. The owner's family and the employees here are all really nice, friendly and helpful, they will give you many advices to visit the region. Plus they really try to develop this eco-friendly project which makes the atmosphere really relaxing and peaceful. We loved it and definitely recommend staying there.

Wonderful Stay in Nature!

This resort is fantastic. Though it’s not right in the heart of Phong Nha town, its location was perfect for me; the farmstay is surrounded by hills and there is a only one quiet road which leads to the botanic garden, paradise cave and dark cave. It’s actually really conveniently situated plus you can you bicycles for free and they also have motorbikes for rent. The staff is lovely and incredibly helpful. They will be super happy to get anything done for you from booking a tour to giving you all info as well as picking you up from town and arranging onward journey for you! You really don’t have to worry about anything while you are here! I loved the food too. The menu is great and caters for vegetarians and vegans too and meat eaters. It really is very well though off in terms of customer-service. Also, the rooms are so nice! Can’t get over the fact how comfortable they are! And the beds are massive! I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this place to anyone travelling in Vietnam as Phong Nha is a fantastic place to explore! Oh, and I would really recommend anyone to stay for at least four days to make the most of it and relax by the amazing pool!

Fabulous luxury farm stay amidst stunning scenery

Beautifully designed eco - friendly farm stay set in the most stunning lush scenery. Huge well appointed rooms and excellent bathroom and shower. Very large freshwater swimming pool in colourful grounds surrounded by flowers. Very friendly owners and staff,extremely helpful. Excellent food. Most highly recommended.
